Just a thank you to all of you that have helped me with questions and issues that I had with my new saddle. I just took my DaVinci to Spain and France for a two week bike trip, and I wanted to let you know that between all three of you, the saddle is now adjusted properly and was a pleasure to ride everyday! And the new cover is terrific.
We did multiple categorized climbs both around Girona (the famous Els Angels and Hincapie Hill) and even a 1 category climb (see photo of me at the top of the famous Tour de France stage of Col de Jau) in the French Pyrenees. Despite my hip surgeries which makes any saddle problematic, the DaVinci was perfect both on the climbs AND the descents. Anyone who says they need a saddle nose to ride a technical downhill has not ridden your saddle!
